Day 1: Your Ecuadorian adventure begins
Welcome to Quito! Once you have arrived at the airport, a driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel to unwind and settle in. The rest of your day is at leisure to relax in your hotel and explore the welcoming city of Quito!

Day 2: Experience Quito's best in one day
Today you will immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of Quito. Begin your morning at the Inti Ñan Museum where you'll learn about Indigenous cultures and participate in equator line experiments.
Next, embark on a city tour through Quito's historic old town. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like La Compañía Church and admire Spanish colonial art treasures.

Day 3: Journey to an Amazon adventure
Get ready for a day of new experiences in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest! Catch an early flight from Quito's airport to Coca, where your adventure begins. Arrive at Yasuni National Park and enjoy a traditional welcome by the Kichwa Añangu community.
Take an afternoon hike along the Playas trail and experience the incredible Amazon wildlife. For an optional activity, kayak down the Napo River and watch the sun slowly set in the Amazon Jungle.

Day 4: Parrots & culture in the Amazon
Rise and shine for an exciting day in the Amazon rainforest! First, head out on an early morning excursion to the parrot clay lick and witness 11 different species of parrots, parakeets, and macaws.
After the hike, you'll get to immerse yourself in the daily activities of a local family, before venturing through a terra firme forest to a second parrot clay lick, where you'll spot even more unique species.
At the Napo Cultural Center, share a delicious lunch with the Kichwa community. Finally, paddle back to the Napo Wildlife Center for an afternoon at leisure, followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 5: Wildlife & sustainable communities in Yasuni
Wake up early this morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast at sunrise. Afterwards, visit sustainable community projects and walk along the Mama Cuna path to see diverse flora and fauna. In the afternoon, paddle around the Añangu stream and spot monkeys, caiman, and fish as you relax and enjoy the scenery.
Later, tuck into a traditional dinner of local dishes like maito (grilled fish wrapped in a bijao leaf), or if you’re feeling adventurous, try the grilled worms of the chonta, locally known as chontacuro.
Following dinner, take a night walk around the lodge to spot reptiles, insects, and nocturnal mammals such as night monkeys, as they emerge from the depths.

Yasuni - El Coca - quito
Day 6: A spiritual awakening in the Amazon
Start your day with a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you participate in a traditional Kichwa ritual. At 4.30am, you'll drink the energizing wayusa, a herbal tea prepared from the leaves of a sacred tree in the equatorial rainforests of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Immerse yourself in the harmony, peace, and joy of this ritual that Indigenous people of South America have enjoyed for over 2,000 years. Listen to local songs, meditate, and interpret dreams.
You'll then return to your accommodation for breakfast, after which a motorized canoe will take you back to El Coca, from where you will fly back to Quito.

Day 7: An adventure amidst natural wonders
Start the day with a refreshing breakfast before venturing into the heart of Mindo's cloud forest.
Explore the vibrant and diverse flora and fauna while birdwatching and marveling at exotic butterflies and insects. The next stop is a breathtaking waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim or just enjoy the view.
Afterwards, enjoy the thrill of flying between the treetops on a zip line, feeling free as a bird as you glide through the rainforest, surrounded by beautiful wildlife.

Day 8: Chocolate-making in the cloud forest
Begin your day exploring Mindo, one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth, nestled in the middle of the cloud forest.
Marvel at the clear rivers, lush greenery and stunning waterfalls. Visit the Mariposas de Mindo butterfly farm, and be amazed by the colorful species that reside here. Hike to numerous small waterfalls and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding nature. Don't forget your camera to capture the breathtaking views of Mindo's natural wonders.
Then, it's time to indulge in the sweet and delicious world of chocolate-making. Learn from local experts how to make chocolate from scratch, from roasting the cocoa beans to molding your own chocolate bars. Savor the fruits of your labor and return home with the best souvenir ever: your own handmade chocolate!

Day 9: Cross the equator
Today you will visit the equatorial monument Mitad del Mundo, a great place for a photo and to buy some souvenirs. After your visit, continue on your drive to Otavalo, where you will spend the night. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy your hotel and the surrounding area.

Otavalo - Cuicocha
Day 10: Explore local markets & lakes
Start your day in Otavalo, the largest Indigenous city in Ecuador. Wake up early and head to the famous Indigenous market, where artisans come to sell colorful textiles, hand-carved wooden figurines, and other traditional goods. Munch on delicious fruits and snacks while browsing the stalls, and don't miss the chance to try some street food like salted mango or fritada con mote.
After exploring Otavalo, head to the nearby town of Cotacachi, famous for its leather products. Take some free time to browse the shops and find the perfect leather bag or jacket to take home as a souvenir.
In the afternoon, visit the stunning volcanic crater lake of Cuicocha. Stroll along the shores and admire the high-altitude flora and fauna, as your guide tells you about the lake's fascinating history. Then, hop on a boat and take a ride around the two beautiful islands in the middle of the lake.

Otavalo - Papallacta
Day 11: And, relax...
Today you will arrive at the Termas de Papallacta resort and spa, where you will spend the day relaxing and enjoying its various pools that are naturally heated by volcanic hot springs. On a good day, from here you will be able to enjoy views of the mesmerizing Antisana volcano, which reaches a height of 5,758m.

Day 12: The emerald waters of Quilotoa
Today you will pay a visit to the picturesque Quilotoa crater lake. There, you'll have the option to walk along the crater’s rim and enjoy splendid views over the shimmering emerald water below, or else hike down a path directly to the lake's edge.
In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Cotopaxi, taking in more of Ecuador's glorious landscapes along the way.

Day 13: Hike to new heights in the Cotopaxi National Park
Today you will head to the Cotopaxi National Park, home to the impressive Cotopaxi volcano, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world.
Within the park, you'll stop at the Limpiopungo Lagoon, where you'll see a variety of birds and often even wild horses as you hike around its edge. If time and your strength allow, hike up to the refuge at approximately 4,800m above sea level; this is a strenuous hike but be prepared to enjoy spectacular views of the national park and surrounding mountains, all perfected with a cup of warming hot chocolate.

Cotopaxi - Banos
Day 14: Relax as you bathe in Baños
This morning, you will drive along the Avenue of Waterfalls. Heading south from Baños, follow the Pastaza River on its way through the valley of the same name. Passing a number of waterfalls, you will reach the village of Rio Verde, where you will stop to visit the well-known Pailon del Diablo (Devil's Cauldron).
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to bathe in the thermal pools of Baños or enjoy a swing on the famous Casa del Arbol, from where the views are second-to-none. Finally, enjoy your evening strolling around Baños and taking in the atmosphere of this lovely city.

Banos - Riobamba - Cuenca
Day 15: Discovering Ingapirca
Start your day with a scenic drive, enjoying the picturesque views of the Andean mountains. Make a stop at Ingapirca, the largest archaeological Inca complex in Ecuador. Its ruins are an excellent example of the blending of two cultures, the Cañari and the Inca. You'll have time to hike through the remnants of the Cañari settlement - be sure to keep an eye out for llamas, which roam the site freely.
Afterwards, continue on to the stunning colonial city of Cuenca, known for its grandeur and charm. Get lost in the winding streets, filled with colorful houses and adorned with blooming flowers. Visit impressive cathedrals, bustling markets and lively plazas, and don't forget to indulge in the city's famous cuisine, from traditional Ecuadorian dishes to international cuisine with a twist. End the day with a beautiful sunset view over the Tomebamba River.

Cuenca - Guayaquil
Day 16: Onwards to Guayaquil
Today you will take a three- to four-hour drive from Cuenca to Guayaquil, enjoying Ecuador’s breathtaking scenery and changing landscape as you descend from the highlands of Cuenca towards the coastal city of Guayaquil. Spend the rest of the day here relaxing, as you prepare for the next leg of your trip: a tour of the gorgeous Galapagos Islands!

Day 17: Travel to Santa Cruz
This morning, you will board your flight to the Galapagos! Arriving onto the beautiful island of Santa Cruz, you will begin your adventure with a visit to the Charles Darwin Station, where you'll meet the scientists and researchers dedicated to the conservation and protection of the unique flora and fauna of the Galapagos. Here, you'll have the opportunity to see the famous giant tortoises up-close, observing their behaviors and learning about their fascinating evolution.
Following this, head to the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, where you'll get a chance to see tortoises at different stages of life and gain insight into the center's conservation efforts, including the breeding programs that have successfully saved several species of Galapagos tortoises from extinction. This is an experience you'll never forget.

Day 18: Nature walks & time on the beach
Today, embark on an eco-day trip to Garrapatero Beach on Santa Cruz Island. Start your adventure by biking through a beautiful stretch of the island, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the Cerro Mesa ecological reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided nature walk through the reserve, learning about the unique flora and fauna of the area, and soaking up the breathtaking views from the lookout point.
After the nature walk, it's time for a delicious lunch before heading to Garrapatero Beach, one of the most pristine and unspoiled beaches in the Galapagos. Settle down with a waterfront picnic on the white sand, bask in the sun for a while after, or venture into the clear waters for an optional kayak ride or snorkeling excursion. Take this chance to also spot exotic birds like flamingos and mallards that call the beach home.

Day 19: Island adventure in the Galapagos
Start your day with an early breakfast, then set off on a thrilling day trip to an uninhabited island. Your destination will depend on the weather, scheduling, and permissions granted by the National Park. Whether you visit Santa Fé, South Plazas, Bartolomé, or North Seymour, you'll be sure to follow trails brimming with flora and fauna.
Each island has its unique features, and you'll have the chance to witness rare wildlife such as endemic land iguanas, frigate birds, and blue-footed boobies. Lunch will be served onboard, so you can make the most of your time exploring the beautiful island. In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to snorkel in the surrounding waters, discovering the area’s sea life.
As the day draws to a close, return to Puerto Ayora and enjoy some free time to relax after an unforgettable adventure.

Day 20: Explore the bay of Santa Cruz & beyond
After an early breakfast, you'll embark on a small boat tour of the bay of Santa Cruz, visiting some of the most exotic places along the way.
Your first stop will be La Lobería, named for its impressive colony of sea lions. Snorkel amidst sea lions and tropical fish, admiring the dazzling show below the surface against interesting underwater formations.
Next, visit the Shark Channel, where you might spot harmless white-tip sharks and blue-footed boobies. You'll then head to the Canal del Amor, where you can look out for sea turtles and a wide variety of tropical fish.
Finally, hop on a speedboat to Isabela Island, where you'll have the rest of the day to explore. Home to a unique ecosystem, Isabela Island boasts a diverse range of wildlife, including marine iguanas, giant tortoises, and Galapagos penguins.

Day 21: Volcanic adventure on Isabela Island
Gear up for a six-hour hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano on Isabela Island today. Along the trail, you'll witness the ever-changing flora and fauna of the young forest. Upon reaching the summit, feast your eyes on the second-largest volcanic crater in the world. Admire the volcanic landscapes of Isabela and Fernandina Islands while you climb, keeping an eye out for the unique vegetation that thrives in the area.
This trek to the edge of the Sierra Negra Volcano is an unforgettable experience that offers breathtaking views and an opportunity to explore Isabela Island's natural beauty. After a long hike, enjoy some leisure time on Isabela Island. If you're up for more adventure, head to the Concha de Perla for some snorkeling, or simply relax on one of Isabela Island's stunning beaches.

Day 22: Snorkeling with sea turtles at Los Tuneles
Get ready for a day of adventure with an exciting excursion to Los Tuneles. You'll board a speedboat from Puerto Villamil and journey for approximately one hour to reach the Cabo Rosa lava tunnels. You will get the chance to explore these incredible tunnels and their geological formations as well as swim among an abundance of sea life, including tropical fish, rays, sea horses, and white-tipped reef sharks.
After this unforgettable experience, you will take a small flight to San Cristobal. When you arrive, you can relax and explore the island at your leisure.

Day 23: Snorkeling at Kicker Rock
Get ready for an unforgettable day of snorkeling at Kicker Rock, one of the most iconic places in the Galapagos.
This unique site is home to many birds, including Nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and tropicbirds, but the underwater world will make this day extra-special, as Kicker Rock is a hotspot for underwater wildlife. You can expect to see sea turtles, white-tipped reef sharks, tropical fish, and more. Don't forget to keep your eyes open for penguins sitting on the rocks!
After lunch on the boat, head to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you can relax and unwind in the sunshine before heading back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in the afternoon.

Day 24: An island-hopping adventure
Get ready for a day of island hopping in the Galapagos! Depending on the weather and permissions set by the National Park, you'll visit either Española Island or Punta Pitt. Each one has its unique features, offering spectacular scenery and opportunities to see rare wildlife up-close.
If you visit Española Island, you will start your day with a hike at Suarez Point, looking for Nazca and blue-footed boobies. After the hike, enjoy lunch on the boat before reaching a snorkel spot, where you can swim with tropical fish, rays, and other marine creatures.
At Punta Pitt, follow the trail that leads to an olivine beach and a volcanic toba rock hill. You'll pass through various natural viewpoints and lookouts, where you can observe all three species of booby and two species of frigates making their nests in the same area.

Day 25: Endless wild encounters
Get ready for a day full of wildlife encounters as you journey to Las Tijeretas Hill and La Loberia!
First, head to Las Tijeretas Hill, just a short walk away from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. You'll witness a breathtaking view of the Galapagos Islands and spot a large number of frigates or tijeretas that inhabit and nest in the area. Keep your eyes open for the passage of whales, mainly between the months of June and October.
Afterward, we'll take you to La Loberia, where you'll have the chance to view colonies of marine iguanas.The beach is also home to sea lions, to which it owes its name.
You'll also see a wide variety of coastal vegetation, including mangroves, salt marshes, muyuyo, and palo verde. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture unforgettable memories and enviable wildlife shots...
